Glass bottle coating is the most important process after glass bottle molding

glass bottle coating
The surface condition of the glass bottle,Composition and structure and its internal composition;the structure is very different.the surface properties of glass bottles it has a great influence on its subject nature.chemical stability of glass, and actually depending on the chemical stability of the surface, mechanical strength of glass, impact resistance to a considerable extent the morphology and structure of a glass surface.chemical stability of glass, and actually depending on the chemical stability of the surface, mechanical strength of glass, impact resistance is also to a considerable extent it depends on the shape and structure of the glass surface.
for the purpose of glass bottle surface treatment,it changes the surface of the container chemical stability and eliminate damage to the glass surface,so as to achieve the purpose of enhancement.the main method is to add coating when making bottles, physical reinforcement, chemical reinforcement, surface acid treatment, plastic coating and other methods.
Here we mainly introduce the glass bottle coating
1, hot coating.
Hot coating is carried out after bottle forming and before annealing.after molding of glass bottles in slowly cooled to 500 ~ 600 ℃,apply a metal coating(such as tin oxide, titanium oxide, tin chloride, etc.)spray on the surface of the container, thermal coating.hot coating is carried out after bottle forming and before annealing.after molding of glass bottles in slowly cooled to 500 ~ 600 ℃,apply a metal coating(such as tin oxide, titanium oxide, tin chloride, etc.)spray on the surface of the container.
2, Cold coating.
cold coating is done after the glass bottle is annealed. monostearate, polyethylene, oleic acid, silane, spray silicone or other polymer emulsions into a mist,it is attached to the surface of a glass bottle with a certain temperature(the bottle temperature depends on the spraying material, about 21 to 80 ° C).form a protective layer with abrasion resistance and lubricity.
Hello.
Is neck finish coating the standard procedure for all bottles? I’ve heard that cap manufacturers recommend not coating the neck finish when applying screw cap or MCA 2.
This depends on what kind of cap will you use.
If cork cap,you could paint. If screw cap,it is better not to choose paint.
So if you choose to have the neck finish not coated is the risk of chipped neck tops more? What is the best way to monitor that?
